The Blue Pond, Japan
The waters in this pond has a striking blue hue due to what people think is from the presence of aluminium hydroxide which reflects the blue light of the sky. Although it’s blue color is what makes it notable, the color is different from different angles at different times in the day.
Located in Hokkaido, Japan, in a bank near River Biegawa, the pond and area of Biei is a popular picturesque location with tourists, especially after Apple used a picture of the pond in software.

Sverd i Fjell (Swords in Mountain) standing along the Hafrsfjord Fjord in Stavanger, Norway. It commemorates the Battle of Hafrsfjord where King Harald Fairhair gathered all of Norway under one crown. Remarkable and majestic piece of art.
